Someone in our boarding house has stolen over $150 from 2 girls.
I hate them. Whoever they are.
You might think it's difficult to hate someone if you don't know who they are, but it's not. Not when the whole house will be punished with early mornings and hours of sitting in the common room, doing nothing, next week if the thief doesn't pay the money back. Not when you start to think that someone, someone in this house is low down and selfish enough to betray the trust of everyone else. Not when our year group has suffered from stealing every year since yr 10, and we've been subjected to a room search every year because of it. Not when we might be searched again. Not when yr 12s have practise exams next week. Not when we're already had stealing last term, and nearly went on sanctions for it then.
Stealing is downright base; contemptible, mean-spirited, and lacking human decency. In a girls' boarding house, this is known as bitchiness; malicious, spiteful and inconsiderate.

Ugh...I hate stealing in the dorms. The guys had this problem more than the girls, but whenever a girl stole, the HCs had to deal with it. Which meant that I would have to waste 30 precious minutes of my day asking some girl why she decided she needed to take money out of someone else's wallet when she could just call her parents.
