Um...yeah, that would be me

I've started up a LiveJournal account - Litterarius - so that I can read Sara's blog and intend to post whatever I write (poetry, prose etc)/read/think on it, but haven't got around to it yet (partly because I find LJ hard to use). In any case, LJ sent me this email today:

Hi litterarius,
litterarius's birthday is coming up on May 31!
You can:
Post to wish them a happy birthday
Send them a virtual gift
Gift them with a paid account

Thanks, LJ, for the reminder that it's my birthday in 34 hours! I'm definitely going to gift me with a paid account...

PS: Cried again whilst practising my memory prose piece on my great grandmother for tonight's reading. Made my tutor cry, too. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing...

Humans are islands; no matter how well you think you know someone, you can't view the world through their eyes. You can't think what they think, feel what they feel, experience what they experience.

It's when you transcend these boundaries, when you transfer some small significance from yourself to another, that you create art.

I'm looking forward to reading some of your work.

I think its a good thing, in a sad/emotional way.
I hope that you dont cry when doing it for real - you want to spend ur last hrs as a 17 yr old happpppy :)
But if you do, oh well. Crying is a good thing in many ways :)

Wow. Thanks, Du'loque.

M; last week in creative writing we were looking at how writing is therapy. Ironic much? I think this is good for me, it's closure and healing. Because I never actually cried when she died, but now I can fully appreciate it.

Also, there is no real chance of me abonding this blog because
1. I don't really like LJ
2. I don't write (creatively) that much/often
3. This blog is my outlet. I'd go crazy if I didn't unleash myself on you every so often. ;-)

Never fear!

I'm glad to hear it :)

I deffinatly agree, i always write when im feeling down, or happy or whatever, even if i dont post it on my blog :]
I'm glad that you can now move on, and are left with good memories of ur grandma :)
I never knew my mums mum, or grandmother, they both died before i was born, and my grandma on my dads side was never too fond of my mum, because she's white, but now they get along and i talk to her sometimes.

p.s i disagree that you dont write creativly that often! Every time you write a post you use ur creativity to express ur feelings and you have gained a true liking by many people on blogger, including me from it.

I recently set up an LJ too because I wanted to show off some of my own writings. I'll add you as a friend, my name is Ceilidh-ann.

haha. LJ can be a bit difficult to use at first but once you get used to it it's okay. I've never had a blog with blogger though so I wouldn't know how much better it is than LJ...

hope you're feeling a little better :) xx

Oh, but I'll be mocking your writing as well. Sorry. Did I ruin the moment?

HI J.A.G!!

I don't know if I'll be online in the next few days and I don't want to miss your birthday so I'm sending you this in advance..

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Here's the link to your birthday card and NO peeking till 31st, ok? :)

Reading your blog makes me really happy, because there's so much of honesty that I see here. There's very little of it in the world and the fact that I have access to so much of it just a click away is enough to make my days. I'm really glad I found your blog and I hope to follow it through all the years you update there..

On this 18th birthday, I hope you get whatever you wish for, coz you sure do seem like you deserve it, girl!

A giant hug and cartloads of smiles,
Sharanya (Nomadica)

PS-Hope you like the card...and it's the only thing I can send you online for your birthday so open the link only on 31st :)
