I know. I mean, it's obvious that we're harming the environment, whether we're causing global warming or not, and we might as well try to be more sustainable. To be skeptical but accepting of the issue is fine; to be cynical and stubborn is not.
Wow. I feel so out of the loop sometimes. I hate watching the news because all they seem to talk about is how many soldiers have died in the war and another toy being recalled due to lead base paint. Sometimes, I wish I lived in the fictious world I write about.
It's funny you should mention this. We had the 401k talk at my job last Friday and one of the employees wanted to know if there were any "Green" companies she could invest in. I thought, "How cool is that?" No one would've thought to ask that. I think that would be really cool to invest in a company like that.
Celise: I stay in the "environmental loop" by subscribing to the NRDC newsletter. =) And I'm glad that more and more people are going "green" so to speak.
Gaby: Neither did I, until I received a newsletter about this petition and so I looked into it. Scary stuff.

I didn't even know of the existence of liquid coal, but now I know. LOL.
